In this time of uncertainty, when all of us don't know what is around the corner, one way to feel energized is by helping others. As President Obama has called out the need to help others, I think it is time to step up and help those that are not as fortunate. The Myasthenia Gravis Association of Southeastrn Michigan (You can google it as MGA Detroit) is a great place to start. We are a small associaton that is focused on helping those patients inflicted with MG, offering a place that can provide information and resources to help people understand this chronic illness.

I enjoy the association, because the people are great, their knowledge of the disease is unbelievable, sharing of stories can be uplifting, and the fundraising events are fun to go to.

If you can help, and it does not have to be with money, we are looking for individuals that can help us with fundraisers, sending out e-mails, working in the MGA-Detroit office, and of course helping us raise money thru donations by local businesses, which can use our website for advertising.
